Privacy policy

What we collect on start.onmotio.com, why we collect it, who handles it with us, and what you can ask of us. Last updated 18 September 2026.

01Who we are

ONMOTIO DESIGN LIMITED, a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 15843447, registered office 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. "We", "us", "ONMOTIO". We decide how the personal data described here is used, which makes us its controller.

02What we collect

When you write to us. The form on our pages asks for your email address and a few lines about your project. You can also give your name, your company and a phone number. With your message we keep where the visit came from: the page you sent it from, the site that referred you, and the campaign details in the link you followed, such as an ad click identifier and utm tags. To protect the form from abuse, we also keep the IP address and the browser details it was sent from.

When you answer one of our forms on Facebook or Instagram. Meta collects your answers and passes them to us: what you tell us about your project, your email address and your name, and your phone number and website if you give them. We handle them as we handle a message sent from our pages.

When you book a call. Calendly takes the booking, including your name, your email address and the time you choose, and passes it to us.

When you order. Your name, your email address and what you buy. Payment is taken by Stripe; we never see or hold your card details.

When you visit. Our hosting provider processes technical data, such as your IP address and your browser, to serve the pages and keep them secure. The tags described in section 05 may collect data about your visit.

How we count visits. We count visits to our landing pages ourselves, without cookies and without storing anything on your device. For each page view we record the page, the site that referred you, the campaign details in the link, the type of device and your browser's time zone, together with an identifier that changes every day. We also record which sections of the page were reached, which of its buttons were used, whether the form was started and sent, how far the page was scrolled and how long it stayed open. This count does not store your IP address or your browser details. The identifier is computed from them with a secret key, so that page views from the same browser on the same day count as one visitor, and it cannot connect visits made on different days.

03Why we use it

UK data protection law requires a legal basis for each use. Ours are these.

To answer your inquiry and talk about your project: the steps you asked us to take before any contract, and our legitimate interest in replying to people who write to us.

To deliver what you buy and keep the records tax and company law require: our contract with you, and our legal obligations.

To follow up about your inquiry, by email, or by phone or text message if you gave us a number: our legitimate interest in answering the request you made. Tell us to stop and we stop.

To measure which of our ads lead to inquiries: your consent where the law requires it, and our legitimate interest in knowing what our advertising achieves everywhere else.

We do not sell your personal information.

04How we handle an inquiry

When your message arrives, we send an automatic acknowledgment. After that, a person reads it and replies.

We use AI tools, including Claude from Anthropic, to summarize and organize what you send so that we can answer it well. They make no decision about you that has a legal or similarly significant effect.

05Cookies and tags

Our pages use, or may use, the services below. Each can set cookies or use similar technology on your device. Not every page carries every one of them.

Google Ads, from Google. Measures clicks on our ads and the inquiries and bookings that follow. Google Privacy Policy

Microsoft Advertising, from Microsoft, through its Universal Event Tracking tag. The same purpose, for ads on Bing and other Microsoft services. Microsoft Privacy Statement

Meta Pixel, from Meta. The same purpose, for ads on Facebook and Instagram. Meta Privacy Policy

OpenAI Ads, from OpenAI, through its measurement pixel. The same purpose, for ads in ChatGPT. OpenAI Privacy Policy

Microsoft Clarity, from Microsoft. Shows how visitors use a page, through heatmaps and session recordings, so that we can improve it. Text typed into forms is masked. Microsoft Privacy Statement

Calendly, when you open the booking panel. Calendly Privacy Notice

Visitors in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area and Switzerland. When our pages place you there, from your connection or from your browser's time zone, the advertising and analytics tags run in a restricted mode: they set no advertising or analytics cookies on our pages, and we do not ask you to switch them on. Some of them still keep technical information on your device: OpenAI's pixel records your refusal in a cookie and in your browser's storage, Clarity may keep a key in your browser's session storage, and Microsoft, OpenAI and their delivery networks may set their own cookies on their domains. The same applies when your browser does not reveal its time zone.

Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends this signal, the advertising and analytics tags on our pages run in the same restricted mode, wherever you are.

Opting out of personalized ads. You can manage the ads Google shows you at My Ad Center, the ads Microsoft shows you in your Microsoft ad settings, and the ads Meta shows you in your ad preferences on Facebook or Instagram. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

06Who handles it with us

We share personal data only with providers that work for us, or that we need to run and measure our advertising.

Cloudflare, which hosts these pages.

Supabase, which hosts our database.

Google, for email and for Google Ads.

Microsoft, for Microsoft Advertising and Microsoft Clarity.

Meta, for advertising and lead forms on Facebook and Instagram.

OpenAI, for advertising in ChatGPT.

Calendly, for booking calls.

Stripe, for payments.

Anthropic, whose AI models help us summarize and organize inquiries.

Quo, for phone calls and text messages.

Google, Microsoft, Meta and OpenAI may also use the data their tags collect for their own purposes, under their own privacy policies. We may disclose information where the law requires it.

07Transfers outside the United Kingdom

Several of these providers are based in, or process data in, the United States. Where UK data protection law applies to such a transfer, it relies on a safeguard that law recognizes, such as the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for certified companies, or the international data transfer agreements approved in the United Kingdom.

08How long we keep it

An inquiry that does not become a project: while it is still useful to follow up with you about it. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

A project or an order: for as long as we work together, and then for as long as tax and company law require us to keep records.

Data collected by advertising and analytics tags: for the periods each provider sets.

09Your rights

Wherever you are, you can ask us for a copy of your personal data, ask us to correct it or delete it, and tell us to stop contacting you. Write to hello@onmotio.com.

Under UK data protection law you also have the right to restrict or object to our use of your data, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw your consent at any time. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We would rather hear from you first.

10Children

Our pages are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.

11Changes

We update this policy when what we do changes, and the date at the top of the page says when. The version published here is the one that applies.
